A Massena woman was arrested after allegedly threatening someone with a knife during a domestic dispute in the town of Brasher, State Police said.
Troopers charged 41-year-old Trista M. Stevens with menacing in the second degree and criminal trespass in the third degree.
Police responded to County Route 38 around 11:18 a.m. on June 2 after receiving a report of a domestic incident. Investigators said a verbal argument between Stevens and the victim escalated when Stevens grabbed a knife and made threatening remarks. The victim contacted police during the altercation, prompting Stevens to flee the residence.
Troopers located Stevens and transported her to SP Massena for processing. She was arraigned in Norfolk Town Court and released under probation supervision.
