Discount retailer Ocean State Job Lot is preparing to host a grand opening for its new Dansville location on May 31, according to the Hornell Evening Tribune. The store quietly opened earlier this spring after taking over a former Big Lots space.
The event will feature giveaways, a special guest, and free coffee from 9 a.m. to noon at 10 Village Plaza. This is the brand’s first location in the region, with others located in Binghamton and Syracuse.
The store employs up to 70 associates and offers discounted name-brand items, seasonal goods, and everyday essentials. The opening is part of a broader expansion after Ocean State Job Lot acquired 15 Big Lots sites in eight states.
