A Moravia man with a criminal history linked to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot has been charged with driving while intoxicated twice in five days. Moses J. Geri, 43, was first arrested May 22 after allegedly driving recklessly in Summerhill.
Deputies later found Geri slumped over his steering wheel with a blood alcohol level of 0.13%. On May 27, he was charged again with DWI. Officials say the second arrest won’t be treated as a felony since Geri hasn’t been convicted of the first.
Geri previously served prison time for firing a gun near a school in Virginia in 2021, an incident tied to his support of former President Trump.
