The dog responsible is described as large, with short grayish-brown fur, and was with a man believed to be 25 to 35 years old. They were accompanied by another large dog resembling a Bernese Mountain Dog. Officials need to observe the biting dog for 10 days to confirm it doesn’t carry rabies.

If the dog can’t be found, the bitten person may need a series of rabies shots. Authorities urge residents to avoid contact with unfamiliar animals and report any sightings.
