Residents in two Schuyler County school districts head to the polls today to decide on multimillion-dollar budgets and select new Board of Education members, according to local officials.
Odessa-Montour voters will weigh in on a proposed $22.6 million budget. Three candidates — David Stigers, William Shrout, and Kurt Anderson — are running for two open board seats. In Watkins Glen, the ballot includes a $31.4 million budget and four candidates competing for three seats. Astra Titus, Jessica Austic, Chad Hendrickson, and incumbent Keith Caslin are on the ticket.
Voting is open from noon to 8 p.m. at Hanlon Elementary School for Odessa-Montour and Watkins Glen High School for Watkins Glen voters.
