A Cayuga County man will serve five years in prison after using a saw blade to threaten a woman during a sexual assault.
Charles R. Marble-McCloe, 30, of Sterling, was sentenced Thursday for first-degree sexual abuse, a violent felony.
Authorities say Marble-McCloe used a Sawzall blade to coerce the woman during the 2024 incident. He was arrested in September and later pleaded guilty.
His sentence includes 10 years of post-release supervision, and he must register as a sex offender upon release.
