A Corning restaurant has earned top honors in New York’s burger scene. The Butcher’s Son was crowned winner of the 2025 “Best NY Burger” competition for its spicy-sweet “Ghost Burger.”
The burger, featuring two grass-fed patties, candied jalapeños, BBQ sauce, and provolone, impressed a panel of anonymous judges from the New York Beef Council who scored entries on taste, presentation, and overall experience.
Located on West Market Street, the Butcher’s Son beat out statewide contenders. The award was announced during the council’s annual Beef Month event in Albany, spotlighting standout beef creations across New York.
