Victor man charged after offensive image incident on trail

A 23-year-old man from Victor was arrested Saturday evening after allegedly displaying a sexually explicit image to two women on a public trail.

Deputies from the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office responded around 5:15 p.m. to a report from two adult females who said they were approached by a man while walking on the Auburn Trail near 160 School Street in the Town of Victor.

The suspect, later identified as Peyton J. Tirabassi of Limestone Lane, allegedly showed the women an explicit image on his cellphone without their consent. Deputies located Tirabassi shortly after the report and took him into custody without incident.

He was charged with public display of offensive sexual material, a Class A misdemeanor under New York State Penal Law § 245.11(a). Tirabassi was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Victor Town Court at a later date.
