Authorities arrested a Rochester man at the Monroe County Jail after he failed to appear in court on a petit larceny charge.
Deisjar Anthony Brown, 33, was taken into custody on May 5 around 12:09 p.m. after a bench warrant was issued by the Victor Town Court.
According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Brown’s original charge stemmed from a September 1 incident at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Eastview Mall, where he allegedly stole $74.99 in merchandise.
After his arrest, Brown was transported to the Ontario County Jail to await arraignment. Deputy Fitzgerald conducted the investigation.
