More than 1,500 people have signed up for this year’s Middle Finger 5K, benefiting Thrive to Survive, according to The Finger Lakes Times. The annual fundraiser kicks off at 6 a.m. Saturday near the Finger Lakes Welcome Center in Geneva, with hopes of surpassing last year’s 1,596 participants.
The event supports adults with cancer across four counties and raised over $75,000 in 2024. Organizers are offering a Friday check-in party with local tastings and race swag, with breakfast burritos waiting for finishers after the race.
Thrive to Survive expects to exceed last year’s fundraising record, continuing the event’s remarkable post-pandemic growth.
