Keuka College honored the academic excellence, leadership, and service of its students during the 2025 Honors Convocation, held Saturday, May 3, at Norton Chapel in Keuka Park, New York.
A celebration of scholarship and leadership



Nearly 100 awards and honors were presented during the ceremony, recognizing outstanding performance across all academic divisions: Applied Health & Wellness, Business & Management, Education & Psychology, Humanities & Fine Arts, Natural Sciences & Math, and Social Work & Criminal Justice.
The event also marked the induction of dozens of students into prestigious honor societies, including Pi Theta Epsilon and Lambda Theta Lambda.
College President Amy Storey praised the honorees, stating, “As we celebrate the accomplishments of today’s student leaders, know that each one of them represents the very best of what Keuka College stands for.”
Recognizing leadership and service
Beyond academic achievements, students were celebrated for leadership and campus contributions. Student Life awards presented included:
- Way of the Wolf Award: Honoring perseverance and character.
- Emerging Leader Award: Recognizing rising student leaders.
- Student Senate Heart Award: Awarded for exceptional service to the Keuka College community.
Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Heather Maldonado also commended students for their dedication, excellence, and lasting contributions to the College’s vibrant community.
Sigma Lambda Sigma tradition
The Honors Convocation concluded with the cord presentation for Sigma Lambda Sigma, Keuka’s honor society recognizing excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service. In keeping with College tradition, newly honored members rang the historic bell atop Ball Hall’s fourth floor to celebrate their achievements.
This annual convocation signals the final stretch of Keuka College’s academic year, culminating with Commencement on Saturday, May 17.
