Farmington man charged with petit larceny after Five Below theft

An Ontario County man has been charged following a theft investigation at a retail store in Canandaigua.

According to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office, Anthony Edward Curran, 36, of Farmington, was arrested on May 5, 2025, after deputies responded to a reported larceny at Five Below on State Route 364. Investigators determined Curran stole merchandise valued at $27.90.

Curran was arrested without incident and issued an appearance ticket to answer the charge of petit larceny in Canandaigua Town Court at a later date. T
