In August, police received a report of stolen checks from a local establishment. Investigators determined that Bianchi stole four checks totaling over $3,000 and endorsed them for deposit into his own bank account.

Bianchi was charged with grand larceny in the third degree, four counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree, and four counts of forgery in the second degree. He was processed at the Penn Yan Police Department and later transported to Yates County Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment in Yates County Court.

The arrest was handled by Officer Skelly and supervised by Hamm.
