  • Staff Report

NASCAR icon Kyle Petty will bring his 29th Annual Charity Ride Across America to Corning next week, according to event organizers. The ride, which raises money for Victory Junction—a camp for children with serious medical conditions—will feature Kyle’s father, Richard Petty, and other celebrities.

Covering 1,400 miles in seven days, the event has raised over $21 million since its inception. Fans can greet the riders at the Radisson in Corning on May 7, with arrivals expected around 3:45 p.m. No tickets are required to attend this heartfelt celebration.

Kyle Petty emphasized that the ride honors his late son, Adam, and helps bring smiles to children facing tough health battles, keeping Adam’s spirit alive through their joy.
