  • Staff Report

Law enforcement officials in Wayne County are asking the public for help locating a man wanted for violating probation, with additional warrants issued by agencies in Monroe County and Geneva.

Robert N. Wells, 32, is currently sought by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. According to authorities, Wells also faces active warrants from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and the Geneva City Police Department. His charges have not been detailed beyond the reported probation violation.

Wells is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 160 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Officials urge anyone with knowledge of Wells’ location to contact the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office immediately. The public is warned not to approach or attempt to detain him. Tips can be submitted by calling 315-946-9711 or by sending a message via the office’s Facebook page.

The Sheriff’s Office also offers a Google Maps tool through its app that shows current wanted individuals. Citizens can use this feature to assist in identifying and reporting sightings.
