A motorcyclist was hospitalized early Monday morning after colliding with a deer on Lake Road in the Town of Sodus, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to the scene around 5:13 a.m. on April 28. The investigation revealed that the operator was on his way to work when his motorcycle struck the deer. He was transported by ambulance to Strong Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The Sodus Fire Department and Wayne County Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
No additional details about the operator’s condition were immediately available.
