History lovers and collectors will flock to Geneva this Saturday for the 51st annual Historical and Political Memorabilia Show hosted by the Monroe D. Ray Chapter of the American Political Items Collectors. The event will be held at the Sons and Daughters of Italy Lodge on 31 Prospect Avenue, running from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with free admission for all attendees.

What began 51 years ago in a small church hall in Auburn has blossomed into a much-anticipated gathering of political memorabilia enthusiasts. This once-a-year show offers visitors a unique opportunity to browse, buy, sell, and trade rare and fascinating artifacts from America’s political history, including buttons, ribbons, posters, 3D items, and one-of-a-kind surprises brought in by the public.

Over the years, the show has showcased extraordinary historical pieces such as a William Henry Harrison campaign bandana from 1840, an 1899 suffragist button featuring Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott, and a John F. Kennedy campaign flag. Attendees never know what unexpected treasures they might encounter.

This year’s event welcomes not only seasoned collectors but also anyone with political or presidential memorabilia tucked away at home. Experts will be available to offer free appraisals, and participants will have the option to enter items into an auction.

With free admission, open access to the public, and the promise of surprising discoveries, this year’s memorabilia show is poised to deliver a vibrant celebration of America’s political past.
