Cayuga Health’s clinics in Montour Falls and Ovid have officially been designated as Rural Health Clinics by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, according to The Odessa File. The new status aims to boost access to affordable primary care in rural areas.
The designation brings extra resources to support patients in Schuyler and Seneca Counties, strengthening Cayuga Health’s commitment to expanding services locally. Director Elisha Wolfer credited the milestone to the dedication of clinic staff and providers.
The clinics are part of Centralus Health, a system formed through Cayuga Health’s recent affiliation with Arnot Health.
