A unique blend of jazz, worship, and reflection will fill the air on Saturday, May 18, as the Ann Mitchell Trio headlines a special event open to the public.

The event will begin at 11:15 a.m., following the 9:30 a.m. worship service. Attendees are invited to experience a moving celebration of music and community, either in person or via Zoom. Organizers noted that the venue is handicap accessible to ensure everyone can join.

Featuring vocalist Ann Mitchell alongside John Gabriele on keyboard and Kyle Vock on bass, the trio promises to uplift spirits and create a deep connection with the heart of the church community. Mitchell, well known for her vast repertoire and stunning vocals, draws on the rich traditions of jazz legends from the 1930s to the 1950s.

Ann Mitchell’s performances celebrate timeless classics made famous by artists like Peggy Lee, Rosemary Clooney, Ella Fitzgerald, Julie London, and Judy Garland. Her dedication to preserving and sharing these songs shines through every note.

“Even if you haven’t heard Ann perform before, you’re in for a real treat! Her song selection and style will take you back to a time when jazz stylists were famous. You won’t believe your ears,” organizers said.

All are welcome to attend and share in this joyful and inspiring experience.
