The Seward House Museum has wrapped up its $3.1 million Barn and Carriage House project, originally funded by the Downtown Revitalization Initiative, according to museum officials. Additional grants and private funding helped transform the historic 1860 buildings.
The renovated spaces now feature a multi-purpose event area and new staff offices, with a future exhibit planned for William H. Seward’s conserved carriage. LeChase Construction, Landmark Consulting, and Martha Lyon led the project work.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for May 16, coinciding with Seward’s birthday.
