Deputies arrested a woman Thursday night in the Town of Galen following an investigation into a reported domestic dispute.
Authorities identified the suspect as 46-year-old Sherry L. Brown of Benning Road. Deputies from the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene, where Brown was arrested and charged with obstructing governmental administration in the second degree.
Deputies processed Brown and later released her on an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in Town of Galen Court at a later date to answer to the charge.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office released the information in a statement dated April 25.
