Firefighters and ambulance crews responded to the crash on South Broadway, finding both vehicles heavily damaged with occupants trapped inside. The truck’s 59-year-old driver and 60-year-old passenger were treated and later released from the hospital.

Officials report the sedan’s driver remains in the ICU, while his passenger is in stable condition. The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the crash, with charges against the sedan’s driver pending.
