Yates County will host an open house and building dedication ceremony on Saturday, May 17, to celebrate the opening of its new Shared Services Facility in Penn Yan.
The event will run from 8 a.m. to noon at 939 State Route 14A. The building dedication will honor former Highway Superintendent Craig Prior for his contributions to the county.
The facility houses the Highway Department, Office of Emergency Services, and the Public Health Clinic. The public is invited to tour the new space and take part in the dedication event.
