The Buffalo Bills continued to bolster their defense by trading up in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft to select South Carolina defensive tackle T.J. Sanders with the 41st overall pick.
Known for his explosiveness and power, the 6-foot-4, 297-pound Sanders brings versatility to Buffalo’s defensive line.
The Bills swapped picks No. 56, 62, and 109 with the Chicago Bears in exchange for picks No. 41, 72, and 240. The move highlights how highly the team values Sanders.
Though still developing, analysts see major upside in Sanders. ESPN’s Jordan Reid called him a “wrecking ball” who fits well in Buffalo’s system, noting his quickness and toughness at the point of attack.
This marks Buffalo’s second consecutive defensive selection to start the draft, reinforcing their commitment to building a dominant front line.
