Bills select DE Landon Jackson with third-round pick in 2025 NFL Draft

The Buffalo Bills addressed another key defensive need by selecting Arkansas edge rusher Landon Jackson in the third round of the 2025 NFL Draft.

The 6-foot-6, 264-pound pass rusher joins a retooled defensive front that now includes first-round cornerback Maxwell Hairston and second-round defensive tackle T.J. Sanders.

Jackson, who earned second-team All-SEC honors in 2024, led the Razorbacks with 6.5 sacks and started 12 games before opting out of the team’s bowl appearance. Initially projected to go in the second or early third round, Jackson slid slightly but still offers strong value as a long, disruptive presence off the edge.

He enters a deep defensive end room featuring veterans Joey Bosa and Michael Hoecht, along with Greg Rousseau, AJ Epenesa, and rookie Javon Solomon. With Epenesa entering the final year of his deal and Bosa on a one-year contract, Jackson adds much-needed depth and future security at the position.
