UR Medicine Urgent Care Seneca Falls has launched a new slate of services focused on women’s health, addressing a growing community need with walk-in flexibility and specialized care.
The expanded offerings, designed and delivered by a team of experienced nurse practitioners, include preventative screenings, pap smears, breast exams, sexual health education, urinary tract infection diagnosis and treatment, STI testing and treatment, contraception care, and mammogram referrals. The initiative is led by Brooke Cool, NP; Corey Meyn, NP; Sara VanCamp, NP; and Carley Shick, NP.
“Our commitment to ensuring all women in our community have access to timely women’s health care is at the heart of this initiative,” said Bob Switzer, PA-C, Urgent Care Director. “We know women are busy, and are often caring for others. Now they have the flexibility to schedule preventative care or walk into the Seneca Falls urgent care clinic for urgent gynecological (GYN) issues, with little to no wait.”
The expansion is part of UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health’s larger mission to increase access to primary care across the region. By offering these services locally, the health system is helping women in the Seneca Falls area receive essential care without the barriers of travel or long wait times.
