A Lockport man was arrested Thursday morning after Ontario County deputies say they found drugs during a routine traffic stop in the Town of Manchester.
Stephen D. McCarthy, 47, of Ontario Street in Lockport, was taken into custody shortly after 7 a.m., according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies charged McCarthy with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree. He was transported to the Ontario County Jail following the arrest.
Authorities said McCarthy is scheduled to appear in Manchester Town Court to answer to the charge at a later date.
