Spotify is back up and running after a widespread outage Wednesday morning temporarily disrupted access for tens of thousands of users, according to the company.
Around 10 a.m. ET, users reported issues with the app, website, and playback features. Spotify acknowledged the glitch and worked quickly to resolve it, declaring the service “all clear” by noon. The outage was not caused by a security breach, the company confirmed.
The platform, with over 675 million users globally, remains one of the most downloaded apps and continues to grow with offerings like podcasts and audiobooks.
