The USDA will hold a free webinar on April 22 at noon to guide New York’s beginning farmers through available federal resources, according to officials.
The hour-long session, open to anyone with pre-registration, will cover farm loans, risk management, disaster aid, and conservation programs. Tailored support for new farmers—those with less than 10 years of experience—will also be highlighted, including special funding and policy exemptions.
Participants will receive a recording link post-event. For questions or accommodations, contact the USDA’s New York Beginning Farmer Team. Registration is available at farmers.gov/beginning-farmers.
