Wayne County Sheriff seeks public’s help locating man wanted for vehicle-related offenses

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 40-year-old Gamel A. Lutteroot, who is wanted on two warrants for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the Second Degree.

As part of its “Wanted Wednesday” campaign, the Sheriff’s Office released a public notice with Lutteroot’s photo and description. He is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 270 pounds, with black hair and black eyes.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on Lutteroot’s whereabouts to contact the Sheriff’s Office immediately. Members of the public are advised not to approach or attempt to apprehend him themselves.

Tips can be submitted by calling 315-946-9711. The Sheriff’s Office also encourages residents to visit their Facebook page or the “Wayne County NY Sheriff” app for updates and to view other active warrants.
