Fleur De Lis Brew Works reopens with spring celebration after winter hiatus

  • Staff Report

Fleur De Lis Brew Works will mark its return to the craft beer scene with a Spring Awakening celebration on Saturday, April 12, following a months-long closure due to family health concerns.

The Partee family, owners of the brewery located on a third-generation farm, paused operations at the end of October. Now, they’re welcoming the community back to their weekend-only craft beer parlour with refreshed offerings and a new management setup.

Jennifer Partee, who now manages the day-to-day operations, will also be pouring for guests. Her husband, Jon Paul Partee, continues in his role as brewmaster, crafting a lineup of ales that includes customer favorites like Raspberry Cream Ale, fruited sours, Blonde, and porters. Visitors can also enjoy house-made root beer and orange cream soda.

“Our spring awakening is a culmination of several months of behind the scenes improvements,” said Jennifer Partee in the announcement. “I’m so excited to welcome back old friends and new to the craft beer parlour. Like Mother Nature waking from a winter slumber, Fleur De Lis Brew Works is too. The daffodils are blooming outside and there’s blossoming changes inside.”

The brewery will be open Saturdays from noon to 7 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
