A driver was treated for injuries after a car veered off Route 90 and struck a tree late Sunday morning near Mahaney Road, according to the King Ferry Fire Department. Fire crews from King Ferry and Genoa responded to the scene after being dispatched by Cayuga County 911.
The driver, who was alone in the vehicle, received medical attention from Southern Cayuga Instant Aid. The extent of the injuries and the cause of the crash remain unknown.
Authorities have not released additional details as the investigation continues.
