A driver was rescued Tuesday after their vehicle plunged down an embankment and struck several trees in Bristol. The crash left the person trapped inside but conscious and breathing when emergency crews arrived.
Bristol Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene and quickly worked to extricate the driver. Once freed, the victim was carried up the embankment and transferred to a waiting ambulance from the Canandaigua Emergency Squad.
Saxby’s Collision also responded to assist with recovering the damaged vehicle.
Authorities have not released additional details about the cause of the crash or the driver’s condition.
