A woman wanted on a bench warrant connected to a reckless driving incident was arrested Saturday evening in Seneca Falls.
Police identified the suspect as 46-year-old Lisa Sergi of Auburn. Officers took her into custody around 6:15 p.m. on March 23 following a prior investigation involving multiple charges.
The charges stemmed from an earlier incident in which Sergi was accused of driving while her ability was impaired and fleeing from police. That incident took place in mid-December, according to authorities.
Authorities also charged her with obstructing government administration in the second degree, unlawful fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree, reckless driving, failure to stop at a red light, failure to keep right, and speeding.
According to police, a bench warrant was issued after Sergi failed to appear in court for those charges.
Officers transported her to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where she awaits arraignment.
