Auburn woman arrested after reckless driving incident in Seneca Falls

The Seneca Falls Police Department arrested a 46-year-old Auburn woman early Saturday morning following a series of traffic violations and a brief pursuit.

Lisa Sergi was taken into custody at 2:10 a.m. on December 14 after officers investigated reports of a suspicious driver behaving erratically near the Hampton Inn in Seneca Falls. Police located the vehicle matching the description and initiated a traffic stop after observing multiple violations.

Sergi faces several charges, including driving while ability impaired, obstructing government administration in the second degree, unlawful fleeing of a police officer in a motor vehicle in the third degree, and reckless driving. She was also cited for failure to stop at a red light, failure to keep right, and speeding in a designated zone.

Following her arrest, Sergi was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
