A Seneca Falls woman faces multiple charges after being arrested twice this month in separate incidents involving false reports and property damage, according to the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department.

Carly M. Digrande, 29, was most recently arrested on March 21 at 1:43 p.m. and charged with two counts of falsely reporting an incident in the third degree. Police say Digrande made multiple false reports between March 18 and March 21, including claims that a child was injured during a prior dispute. One of those false reports was also made to the statewide central register of child abuse and maltreatment.

Digrande was released from custody with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.

The charges follow an earlier arrest on March 16 at 4:58 a.m., when police responded to a domestic dispute involving Digrande. She allegedly damaged property inside the victim’s home by pushing several items off a dresser and later scratched the paint on the victim’s vehicle after leaving the residence. In that case, she was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree, a felony, along with misdemeanor counts of criminal mischief in the fourth degree and criminal tampering in the third degree.

Following her arrest, Digrande was processed and transported to the Seneca County Law Enforcement Center to await arraignment. An order of protection was requested for the victim in connection to that incident.
