A Wayne County man was arrested after authorities say he forcibly pulled a woman from a vehicle and prevented her from calling for help, all while creating a hazardous situation for an infant.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies arrested Bryce M. Warner, 24, of Welcher Road in the Town of Arcadia, following an investigation into a domestic incident on Pilgrimport Road in Lyons. Warner is accused of attempting to remove a female from a vehicle and taking her phone to stop her from calling emergency services.
According to deputies, the incident not only involved physical aggression but also placed an infant child in danger. Warner faces charges of criminal mischief in the fourth degree, endangering the welfare of a child, and harassment in the second degree.
Authorities took Warner into custody and transported him to the Wayne County Jail. He was held there until his scheduled appearance before Centralized Arraignment Part (CAP) court on March 20 at 7 a.m.
