A Manchester man has been arrested for burglary following an investigation into a reported larceny at a Canandaigua Walmart, according to the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office.

Marcis Allyn Worboys, 33, was charged with burglary in the third degree on March 17 after allegedly stealing $338.90 worth of merchandise from the store. Authorities say Worboys had previously been banned from Walmart, leading to the felony burglary charge.

Canandaigua police arrested Worboys at 65 Bristol Street in connection with an unrelated incident. He was later transported to the Ontario County Jail, where he awaits centralized arraignment proceedings. Officials said he will appear before Hopewell Town Court at a later date.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office conducted the investigation, with assistance from the Canandaigua Police Department.
