Syracuse men’s basketball, the No. 14 seed (13-18, 7-13 ACC), faces No. 11 seed Florida State (17-14, 8-12 ACC) in the opening round of the 2025 ACC Tournament tonight. Tip-off at the Spectrum Center is set for 7 p.m. on ACC Network, with the winner advancing to meet No. 6 seed SMU on Wednesday.
The Orange ended their regular season with an 84-70 Senior Day victory over Virginia. Eddie Lampkin Jr. recorded his 14th double-double, posting 25 points and 10 rebounds. Jyare Davis and Lucas Taylor each contributed 15 points, while Jaquan Carlos dished out seven assists.
Florida State, meanwhile, closed with a 76-69 home win over SMU, led by Malique Ewin’s 26 points and Jamir Watkins’ 20. Before that victory, the Seminoles had lost five of six.
Syracuse leads the all-time series 10-8, but Florida State won their lone regular-season matchup, 90-74, in January.
