Sabres send defenseman Henri Jokiharju to Bruins

The Buffalo Sabres completed their third and final trade on Friday, acquiring a fourth-round pick from the Boston Bruins in exchange for defenseman Henri Jokiharju.

Jokiharju, who played 42 games for Buffalo this season, tallied six points (three goals, three assists) while averaging 16:18 of ice time.

The 25-year-old was first acquired by the Sabres in a trade with the Chicago Blackhawks in July 2019. Over six seasons in Buffalo, he appeared in 351 games.

Earlier in the day, the Sabres made trades with the Ottawa Senators and New York Rangers to acquire forward Josh Norris and defenseman Erik Brannstrom.
