After nearly a year of renovations, the Geneva History Museum will reopen on March 8 with improved accessibility and modern updates. The 19th-century building now features a new entrance ramp, an elevator, ADA-compliant bathrooms, and an upgraded HVAC system to enhance visitor experience.
Exhibit spaces have been revamped with new flooring, lighting, and audiovisual equipment. New exhibits include In the Business of Death: Funeral Homes of Geneva and We Didn’t Start the Fire: Firefighting in Geneva. The museum also aims to host community meetings and events.
The grand reopening runs from 2 to 4 p.m. on March 8. Regular hours resume Tuesdays through Fridays, with expanded hours in May. More details are available at historicgeneva.org or (315)-789-5151.
