Syracuse women’s basketball wrapped up the regular season with a dominant 82-57 win over Boston College at the JMA Wireless Dome on Sunday afternoon, avenging an earlier loss while celebrating Senior Day.
The Orange (12-17, 6-12 ACC) honored six graduating players and two student managers postgame.
Georgia Woolley led the way with 19 points, six assists, five rebounds, and four steals. Sophie Burrows added 16 points and eight boards, while Kyra Wood contributed 14 points, six rebounds, a block, and a steal. Izabel Varejao grabbed a team-high nine rebounds, and Olivia Schmitt matched Woolley with six assists. Eleven different players scored for Syracuse.
The Orange set the tone early, responding to an opening Boston College basket with an 11-0 run. A dominant second quarter extended their lead to 45-20 at halftime, and they maintained control the rest of the way.
Syracuse finished the season 8-8 at home and holds a 40-27 all-time record against Boston College.
The Orange will next compete in the 2025 Ally ACC Women’s Basketball Tournament, with matchups to be announced soon.
