The Seneca County Board of Supervisors has appointed Ian Coyle as a Management Consultant to guide the county through its leadership transition. Coyle, who served as County Administrator in Livingston County from 2008 to 2024, brings a wealth of experience in public administration, executive leadership, and fiscal management. His expertise is expected to play a crucial role in ensuring stability as the county navigates this period of change.
Coyle will begin his role next week, working closely with Board Chairman Michael Enslow, county officials, and the Board of Supervisors. His primary responsibilities will include overseeing county operations, assisting with strategic initiatives, and maintaining continuity as the search for a permanent County Manager progresses.
“Ian has my full support, as well as the full support of the Board of Supervisors,” Enslow said. “His leadership and expertise will help guide Seneca County through this transition, ensuring continuity and progress in county operations.”
The Board of Supervisors is encouraging all county staff to work collaboratively with Coyle as he steps into the role, reinforcing the county’s commitment to delivering essential services to the community.
