After a breakout 2024 season, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Khalil Shakir was rewarded with a major payday and will remain with the team through at least the 2029 season.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero, the Bills and Shakir agreed to terms on a four-year contract extension worth up to $60.2 million with $32 million guaranteed at signing.
Shakir, 25, led the Bills in targets (100), receptions (76), and receiving yards (821) this past season, all career highs. He also had a career-high four touchdown receptions.
The 2022 fifth-round selection is also one of the most reliable wideouts in the NFL, dropping just one pass last season and ranking third among all pass catchers with 597 yards after catch.
