A Lyons man was arrested Saturday afternoon following an investigation into a reported domestic incident, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a 911 call on February 22 regarding a physical altercation at a residence on Broad Street in Lyons. Investigators determined that 51-year-old Jason L. Morahan had allegedly slapped an adult family member in the presence of a teenager.
Morahan was charged with second-degree harassment, endangering the welfare of a child, and aggravated family offense due to a prior criminal contempt conviction in 2022. He was taken into custody, processed at the sheriff’s office, and held for Centralized Arraignment Processing.
