Texas man arrested for weapons possession in Schuyler County

A Texas man was arrested in Schuyler County after a traffic stop led to the discovery of a firearm, authorities said.

The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office reported that Anthony S. Trujillo Jr., 42, of San Antonio, was pulled over on State Route 414 in the Town of Hector on February 15. Following an investigation, deputies charged him with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.

Trujillo was arraigned in Schuyler County CAP Court and remanded to the Schuyler County Jail while awaiting further legal proceedings.
