A Canandaigua man was arrested earlier this month for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop in Schuyler County, authorities said.
The Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office reported that Peter D. Rayburn, 69, was stopped by deputies on County Road 16 in the Town of Dix on February 1. Following an investigation, he was charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), driving with a blood alcohol content (BAC) above .08, and other vehicle and traffic law violations.
Rayburn was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Dix Court at a later date.
