An Ithaca woman was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a personal injury accident earlier this month in Schuyler County, authorities said.
According to the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office, Shawntain T. Jackson, 51, was involved in a crash on State Route 79 in the Town of Hector on February 1. Following an investigation, deputies determined that Jackson had a blood alcohol content (BAC) above .08 and charged her with DWI, along with multiple vehicle and traffic law violations.
Jackson was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Hector Court at a later date.
