Geneva Theatre Guild brings Hollywood satire to stage

  • / Updated:
  • Staff Report

The Geneva Theatre Guild will present Completely Hollywood (abridged), a fast-paced comedy that parodies 186 iconic films, on Feb. 21-23 at the Pat Collins Black Box Theatre. Directed by Loren Schmidtgall, the show playfully skewers Hollywood classics, flops, and everything in between.

Written by Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor, with additional material by Dominic Conti, the production stars Jesse Tyler Halstead, Steve Mitchell, and Devon Osborne. Expect rapid-fire jokes, cinematic clichés, and absurd twists on famous films.

Performances are Feb. 21-22 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 23 at 2 p.m. at the Geneva Community Center. Tickets are available at genevatheatreguild.org or at the door.
