Ithaca police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian injured early Saturday morning.
According to a media release, officers responded to the 500 block of Spencer Road just after 12:30 a.m. on February 15 for a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene before police arrived.
The victim was transported to a local trauma center, where they are reported to be in stable condition. Authorities have not yet located the driver or the vehicle involved.
Police are asking anyone with information or who may have witnessed the crash to come forward.
